Campsite Mas de la Cam, a property of 65 hectares, is situated at the
border of the
National
Cevennes
Park, a protected area, and all has been done to keep the campsite as
original and natural as possible. At the entrance you’ll find the
“mas” which gave its name to the campsite: it is a former
farmhouse, completely built out of river stones. On the campsite
itself you can find a wide variety of trees and bushes; especially
in May and June, when most flowers bloom, you’ll believe you’re
in a park!
The lovely situation of the campsite and the special attention which is
given to nature on it has been rewarded several times

In 1999 Mas de la Cam has been chosen by Dutch campers as the best site
of
France
and in 2003 the campsite has received the CH.E.N.E. Award (Challenge
Environment, Nature and Ecology), a regional prize for its effort to
preserve nature, patrimony and environment.
